2 Chainz released a new single "Road Dawg" today and took part in a war of words with cable tv host Nancy Grace on the legalization of marijuana.  Check out both inside...

In new music, 2 Chainz teamed with DJ Spinz for the intro to his upcoming mixtape T.R.U. Jack City. On “Road Dawg,” he shouts out friends and family who are locked up, including an aunt he says is doing 30 years.  The tape drops on Jan. 27th and is hosted by DJ E Sudd. Other featured on the tape are Skooly, Fresh (aka Short Dawg), and Bankroll Fresh.

On television...

2 Chainz engaged in a heated and semi-funny debate with HLN host Nancy Grace about the legalization of marijuana last night. During their exchange, the two debated the dangers of making pot legal, with Nancy citing several highly charged cases to support her point  - that it's a bad thing. 2 Chainz, whom she refered by both his government name and Tity Boi (ha!), countered with his own examples. He told  Nancy,

“You can’t use these particular stories to define everyone who uses [marijuana]. You don’t have to be a genius; you don’t have to graduate from school. You don’t have to be a successful artist or entertainer to know that giving any child drugs is wrong.”

As for why he supports the legalization of the drug, Tity Boi said:

"I'm not sure if you know, but everybody has the ability to get their hands on pot right now, whether it's legal or not. I just feel like if you legalize this particular drug you could cut out certain things in the criminal justice system as far as the overcrowding of prisons, as far as putting it on our criminal record to prevent us from getting loans, to prevent us from getting homes. Just the whole thing around recreational weed isn't making any sense to me."

"We're in a deficit right now, we gotta try to find our ways on getting out. So I figure if we got half of the states legalizing pot, if the rest of the community legalizes pot that frees up taxpayers' money. That allows us to do something with those extra funds as far as fixing everything from potholes in the street to a stadium, so I'm down with it."

*Snaps*  Guess he schooled Ms. Grace. Check it above.
