Over the weekend, fans lucky enough to snag an invitation to Red Bull Music Academy's "20Before15" event at New York's Brooklyn Museum were treated to a talk from reclusive neo-soul crooner D'Angelo.
During the discussion, led by music journalist Nelson George, D'Angelo played his third album, Black Messiah, and revealed the disc's first single "Sugah Daddy."
Black Messiah (credited to D'Angelo and The Vanguard) is D'Angelo's first album since 2000's Voodoo and is expected to hit retail stores on December 16th. He's also heading to Europe with "The Second Coming Tour" featuring his new band, The Vanguard. And we are SO here for this.
