Today, actress and singer Antonique Smith debuted her new video for "Hold Up Wait A Minute." Directed by Larenz Tate and starring new dad Lance Gross, she delivers a great performance in the lead single from her forthcoming debut album Love Is Everything.
While the visual is about leaving a bad relationship, Antonique discussed the song's universal music in a press release tied to its release.
“It’s time to take the power back for all the injustices in our lives – from Mike Brown to the kidnapping of innocent Nigerian girls and all the demoralizing issues in between. This is an anthem for people worldwide that demand respect. Hold Up Wait A Minute!”
Antonique's album Love Is Everything drops in 2015 and will feature production from Toby Gad (Beyoncé, Fergie), Danja (Justin Timberlake, Usher), Jukebox (Willow Smith, Eve) and Dr. Dre.

Jazmine co-directed the clip with her mother and Eshon Burgundy, which puts forth the idea that everlasting love doesn't happen for everyone. In the video, we watch her burn her wedding dress!
Speaking about Reality Show album (due next year) Jazmine told Rap-Up TV,“I’m really proud of it. I worked harder on this album than any album. The songs are really colorful, just about life in general and reality from my eyes.”
