What happens when you walk into a swanky hotspot in the Hollywood -area where you spot Angela Bassett, Kerry Washington, Mike Epps, Tasha Smith& Lee Daniels sitting at a secluded table in the back? You spy and figure out what the hell they're planning! We might not have been privy to this dinner in time to do so, but we're surely snooping around now.
Last night, Lee Daniels posted a pic of his dinner with his well-appointed friends saying, "A late nite dinner with the children. @tasha4realsmith #angelabassett @eppsie #kerrywashington #uneedtobaflyonthiswall"
Hmmmm....what would a fly on the wall witness? Perhaps this was a table read for guest spots on Lee Daniels' EMPIRE project on Fox? Maybe Kerry is recruiting them all for guest spots on "Scandal"? Could Tasha be soliciting them as character witnesses in her legal battle with her estranged husband? Did Angela invite them to the red-carpet premiere of her upcoming Whitney Houston biopic?
We're not sure what went down last night but from the looks of the pic, Tasha Smith may have drank water. According to her estranged husband Keith Douglas (who filed for a restraining order because of her alleged drunken rages) - that's not her usual choice of beverage. #noshade #holdyourliquor
