The 2014 Soul Train Music Awards was all about 90s nostalgia with two blockbuster performances.
Famed 90s group Jodeci teamed up for a renowned performance at the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas last night. K-Ci, Jo-Jo, DeVante and Mr. Davin rocked the stage with some of their classic hits such as "Forever My Lady", "Stay", "Freek 'n You" and "Come And Talk To Me." The newly united group (who haven't hit the stage together since 2006) also performed a new track "Nobody Wins".
And all though they sounded good, we can't get over DeVante and this ponytail:
Sighs...Oh and get this! Jo-Jo suffered a mishap while performing. He slipped and fell to the ground right in the middle of a song, but he never missed a note. Ha!

Also hitting the stage....
Lil Kim, Missy Elliot and Da Brat brought the house down with a special performance of their 1997 platinum hit “Not Tight” remix.
The “Not Tonight” remix (which sampled Kool & The Gang) appeared on Kim’s Hard Core debut album and it featured rhymes from Missy Elliot, Da Brat, Power 105 radio personality Angie Martinez and the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes.
The trio paid tribute to the iconic funk band Kool & the Gang, who was honored with the Soul Train Legend Award. Kool & The Gang were honored with the Legend Award for their outstanding achievements and contributions to soul music, since initially forming the group 50 years ago.
The female MCs also honored Left Eye during their set, playing her solo part on the big screen as they rocked out on stage. Loves it!
