Aretha Franklin is readying a brand new album titled Aretha Franklin Sings The Great Diva Classics. And for her lead single, she's belting out her rendition of Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep (The Aretha Version)”. Check out the new track and deets on her upcoming LP inside…

Aretha Franklin is ready to release some new music for the masses…well, kinda.

The Queen of Soul has created a new album titled Aretha Franklin Sings The Great Diva Classics. On the album, she remixes many iconic diva tracks from the likes of Barbra Streisand's "People," Gladys Knight's "Midnight Train To Georgia," to Alicia Keys'"No One," and a mash up of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" and Destiny's Child's"I'm A Survivor," plus more.

As for her lead single, she lays her vocals on Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep” (which is currently available for download on iTunes) and then finishes it off with Tammi Terrell and Marvin Gaye's“Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” at the end.

On the upcoming LP, she has reunited with Sony Music Entertainment's Chief Creative Officer Clive Davis and has collaborated with A-List producers such as Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, André 3000, Harvey Mason, Jr., Terry Hunter and Eric Kupper. Nice!

We can expect the Queen of Soul’s new project to be released on October 21st. And below is a track listing of the new album:
