Last night, Bar One owner Peter Thomas produced the “How can I BE Down Salute to Excellence Awards Gala” in Atlanta at the Intercontinental Hotel.
The awards pay tribute to individuals who've paved the way in the entertainment industry. This year, Peter honored rapper/activist David Banner, business mogul Kandi Burruss, record exec Jermaine Dupri and radio personality Greg Street.
The event was hosted by Revolt TV’s Kenny Burns, and entertainment exec Deb Antney (who also was an award recipient).
Host Kenny Burns "modeled" the trophy alongside Peter and his fab wife Cynthia Bailey.
We haven't seen Deb Antney since she had to go "Oops Upside Your Head" on Joseline Hernandez at the "LAHH ATL" reunion. She got all dolled up for the event.
ynthia Bailey looked radiant and was right by her hubby's side supporting his event.
The event also brought out former Miss USA and Cynthia's "RHOA" castmate Kenya Moore.
Akso a the event was "House Of Payne" star Demetria McKinney. While Demetria is clever enough to remain mum, we have heard from several well placed sources that she will be on "RHOA" this year as a friend of Kenya and Cynthia.
We feeling all the bra action?
"RHOA" star and business mogul Kandi Burruss was an award recipient last night. She posed alongside hubby and "Hollywood Divas" producer Todd Tucker. And we're actually loving her look....surprisingly. Kandi's dress is Majo and her shoes are Valentino.
"LAHH ATL" star Benzino was there to support Peter.
V103 radio personality Greg Street was presented his award.
TIP pulled double duty as he attended a brunch in honor of his wife Tiny earlier in the day. However, he switched up his caps. Wish it would have been the whole look that was switched up.
"Fashion Queens" host Derek J literally popped out of his blouse.
Dice attended with her girlfriend. Work.
David Banner, who was very vocal throughout the Ferguson Protests, was an award recipient as well.
On Instagram, Kandi shared a photo she took with interior designer Tobey Renee, her bestie Carmon and Dice.
