“Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” star Ray J (above in NYC today) stopped by HOT 97 to chop it up with Ebro about many things. He dished on starring in his sixth reality show "LAHH Hollywood", why he decided to do the show, he gave his side of what went down when he was arrested for battery after a woman claimed he violated her, who deserves the credit for Kim Kardashian's fame AND talked about his girlfriend Princess Love’s ex-boyfriend/boxing champ Floyd Mayweather.

On his upcoming VH1 show:
“I’m on my sixth show and I’m developing another show on VH1 right now”On why he decided to do “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood”:
“I had a deal with Oxygen. We were working on the ‘Bad Girls All Star Battle 1& 2’ and then Mona [Scott-Young] called me then Susan (who’s one of the heads of VH1 on the west coast) when she called me I was like aight. I thought about it because I was doing something else, but when Susan called me I know that there is a future here again cause when I did the ‘For The Love of Ray J’ I came back and created ‘Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business’ and it helped our production company grow. So this time around, it’s that same time of deal except we doubling up.”On creating Kim Kardashian’s fame:
“No, God did that. I didn’t do that. You know legally I can’t talk about that.”On him having creative control on “LAHH Hollywood”:
“I don’t know control. I control my scenes and who I shoot with, but I don’t have any control. Mona and them have all control of this, I’m just turnt up.”On breaking up with Teairra Mari:
“She from the D [Detroit], so she always had a voice and when she got mad, she expressed herself a little bit more over the top then other people would. A lot of physical altercations. I don’t put my hands on women, so you keep getting punched a lot of times or you keep getting hit…She throwing a lot of blows throughout the season. I don’t want to be put in a position where I got to try to get away or defend myself.”On his arrest after a woman accused him of grabbing her a**:
“I got probation because I went further than what I should when they was trying to say I did that. I’m in trouble because I didn’t do the sh*t and then it’s like…but I still shouldn’t have did that. I shouldn’t have overacted like that. I don’t ever want to be put in that position where…cause you know my mom, my sister…like I respect women all the way around the board. And I just didn’t want to be typecast like that.”
On his relationship with Princess Love:
“We been together for like almost two years in a weird kind of way. We been together for like a year but then we was together before that for a year too but I was kinda in another situation (i.e. Teairra Mari). I was in another situation but when I met her I fell for her. I realized the other situation was bad and this one was good.”On if Princess was a stripper:
“Yes she was.”On his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend Floyd Mayweather:
“There’s a code and dealing with certain people you have to respect the code because it’ll just get way messy. So instead of that, I love her, I met her, people kinda know what it is but out of respect for the whole everything I’m chillin’. Ain’t nobody got no feelings, it is what it is, but again I’m working and the minute you flip it and go back into some other ish and start creating…it just becomes too much and I don’t wanna be involved with that.”
