We're just days away from the final season premiere of HBO's "Boardwalk Empire".  And we've got sneak peeks at Michael K. Williams, a.k.a. Chalky White, and more on their gangster ish in season 5…

Throughout the last four seasons of "Boardwalk Empire," Atlantic City's Prohibition-era leader, Enoch “Nucky” Thompson turned the east coast and beyond inside out in order to keep money flowing while the sale of alcohol was forbidden. While partners in crime protected and supported—sometimes even turned on--him, gangster Chalky White (played by Michael K. Williams) always stayed loyal. Until he didn't. Throughout all the betrayal, run-ins with the KKK and turmoil in his and his daughter's lives, Chalky survived and is ready to flourish on his own in the next era.

In the upcoming season, which takes place in the depths of the Depression in 1931, Nucky begins to plot a post-Prohibition future, and it looks like Chalky is as well.

What to expect from the last and final season: Chalky is ready to take advantage of an opportunity to extricate himself from a difficult opportunity, Narcisse (played by Jeffrey Wright) attempts to do business with major mobsters Luciano and Siegel in Harlem…and it backfires with plenty more twists.

Season 5 of "Boardwalk Empire" premieres Sunday, September 7th at 9p on HBO.
