Neo-soul crooner D'Angelo was among the talent who hit the stage Day 2 of the AfroPunk Festival 2014 at Commodore Barry Park in Brooklyn over the weekend.
Backed by The Roots, he performed for an hour but did not play about of his hits from Voodoo or Brown Sugar. Instead, he did numerous covers/remakes, including Sly and the Family Stone’s 1973 Thankful n’ Thoughtful.
