We told you earlier about claims made by The Dream’s baby mama Lydia Nam, the woman he was charged with allegedly assaulting while she was pregnant with his child back in April 2013.
Yeah, we didn't know he had a new baby till that report surfaced either.
Now, The Dream has turned himself in on felony assault and strangulation charges. According to TMZ, The Dream (real name Terius Nash) surrendered at a NYPD precinct at 8:30AM this morning. Police have been looking to talk to him after Lydia filed the report in November 2013 (yes...7 months later).
She claims she and The Dream got into an argument, which resulted in him allegedly punching, kicking and strangling her while she was pregnant. And this isn’t the couple’s first domestic violence situation. The-Dream was arrested for a separate domestic violence incident (involving Lydia) last June in Newport Beach, CA
Interestingly, this morning, Dream took to his Instagram and posted a picture of his girl with the caption,"Sometimes if you stop looking so hard, the thing you're looking for easily finds You. #OntheRun”
Not sure how recent this pic is but it was posted two hours before he turned himself in. Seems they could have already made up.
He's currently still in custody. We'll keep you posted...
