Last night at New York City hotspot, The Griffin, Knicks baller Carmelo Anthony was honored for his philanthropic work and ongoing community service through his Carmelo Anthony Foundation.
In celebration of the event’s 10th anniversary, Saturday Night Live star, Jay Pharoah, kicked off the festivities, with Spike Lee (2004 Hennessy Privilège Award recipient) taking the stage to toast the new inductee.
The Latina ladies Rocsi Diaz & Adrienne Bailon were there to support their good friend Melo, who recently spent time back home in Puerto Rico doing his own personal training camp.
His NY Knicks teammate J.R. Smith was there.
And so was rapper Fabolous
Actor turned singer/rapper MackWilds posed it up with DJ Clue.
And singer Luke James came out to support.
Melo was spotted afterwards partying with his fellas Swizz Beatz & Fab:
The two joined a bunch of friends like Eve at Catch in the Meatpacking District.
Carmelo sported a diamond grill, and a gold chain identical to one Jay-Z wore recently.
The chain features a solid silver medallion which is the symbol of "Nation of Gods and Earths" also known as the Five-Percent Nation.
Congrats Melo!
