As they prep their second workout DVD, “Sexy Abs Cardio Sculpt”, celebrity trainer Jeanette Jenkins and singer Kelly Rowland dished exclusively to TheYBF.com about their calorie burning secrets, how to get Kelly's glowing skin, who they think has the hottest abs in Hollywood and why Kelly is the biggest fan of her own naked body.

With one best-selling workout DVD already under their belts, the ab-tastic Nike wearing duo, Kelly Rowland and Jeanette Jenkins, are back with their second workout video “Sexy Abs Cardio Sculpt”. And our fab & fit readers are going to love what they're selling.
As they prep for an October release, the duo talked exclusively with TheYBF.com on the L.A. set over the weekend about their sexy new 5-minute workout moves, their sex-filled calorie burning sessions, and why Kelly looks so damn good naked...if she does say so herself! Here are the highlights, and yes, even the flawless Ms. Rowland has days where she's not feeling beautiful:
On teaming up for video number two
JJ: The first [video] was received so well, now people want the additional “whole head-to-toe Kelly Rowland workout.” Here is where you get it! The first workout, we just focused on the abs. Have you seen this girl at the Grammy’s, the Oscars? I’m getting blown up with “I want Kelly Rowland’s arms, I want Kelly Rowland’s legs, and I want Kelly Rowland’s booty.” Did you not see her pop up on the stage at the Superbowl like bionic woman? Okay so, bottom line, if we didn’t do it (the video) people would be coming after me.
On the unconventional ways they burn calories
JJ: Kelly likes to have sex [laughter].
KR: I mean it always helps. I also play the "wii" with friends. We’re pretty much diving into the TV making sure we have a good time.
JJ: I just like to turn up. If we’re going to a concert or club or dinner I'm going to burn calories everywhere. I’m pretty much ‘Jeanette turn up.’ I’m going to add energy and burn calories that’s the way I do. I just like to turn up!
KR: All I need is a good workout and that's it. I take care of myself, take care of my skin and I watch what I’m eating.
On why Kelly likes working out with Jeanette
KR: She’s the person at 6 o' clock in the morning like “WAKE UP! YEAH!” But sometimes you do need that burst of energy. You do need someone there that's motivating and helping you and that's what she does and that's why we've stuck together for so many years. I love her to death. She is completely inspiring--physically and mentally.
On what you get in the "Sexy Abs Cardio Sculpt" DVD
JJ: The great thing about the sexy abs cardio sculpt is that we have put it into 5 minute chapters. Really fun chapters. Each chapter has a signature move. If you’re a beginner or short on time, you only have to do 5 minutes or 10 minutes in 2 or 3 chapters. Anyone can do it and let it grow with you over time.
KR: You will definitely feel the burn. It's the most intense 5 minutes ever.
On Kelly's diet regimene
KR: I never like to say diet. I like to say eating clean. Listening to your body and knowing what your body responds well to. For me, its green vegetables or fish. I don’t feel like I’m heavy or weighed down and lethargic when I eat. Food should give you energy. My favorite thing right now is grilled pineapple with cinnamon.
Favorite food to have on cheat day?
KR: Cupcakes! Or anything with sugar or chocolate sauce.
Inspiration for those lazy days you don’t feel like getting out of bed
KR: I like what it feels like naked. I wanna look good naked. Everybody wants to look good naked. That's the goal.
On who wants to see Kelly naked?

On who has the hottest abs in Hollywood?
JJ: Kelly Rowland. Have you looked at her?!
KR: Jessica Biel.
On the most efficient workout to get you in tip top shape?
JJ: This workout. The cardio, the sculpting, and the focus core work. This is the exact prescription of workout style that I do with Kelly and other clients. We try to get as much in within an hour that we can. This is called ‘everything but the kitchen sink.’
JJ: For me it starts with the food. You are what you eat. When I really want to assure my skin is glowing, I make sure I'm drinking a lot of water and avoid sugar, dairy, and high fatty foods and then I get a glow.
On their favorite pick-me-up when feeling less than sexy?
KR: This is really corny but I like to listen to Snoop Dogg’s “Beautiful” and dance around my house. I do it for myself and then I think I’m cute again.
JJ: I feel the most beautiful when I take everything off and get back to nature. No makeup. No nothing. Just throw on some sweats and hang out at the beach or go for a hike or even do yoga or go to church. I like to bring everything back to the spirit. If I feel like that in any way, I like to bring everything back to my purpose in life and that makes me feel beautiful again.
What are people doing in Hollywood that you wish you could fix?
JJ: Looking in the mirror and not loving themselves. Stop doing that! Stop putting yourself down. I’ve worked with women who are bombshells that don’t love themselves. But it's not just them, it's the average girl at home. They need to look at the mirror and say look at the beauty that God created. Find something beautiful about yourself that you love. If it's your hips, thighs, your hair, skin...love it! Love yourself.
KR: You also need to be patient with yourself. Women look at a picture and they want that in an instant and to be honest, you have to pace yourself and take time. You have to do everything it takes and dedicate yourself to a plan whether it's a meal plan, not a diet, or a workout plan. Be honest with yourself. Should I pick up this red drink full of sugar or should I pick up water or coconut water?
