Hottie actor Idris Elba was spotted in Times Square yesterday on his way to the 'Late Show with David Letterman' where he stopped to sign a few autographs.
While promoting his flick Pacific Rim (out July 12th), Idris told Dave that he moved to the States in 1999...but didn't find work for four years! And it was all because he hadn't mastered an American accent yet.
When Dave asked if he'd ever played an American with a "bad" accent he joked, "No....I'm that good!". We're sure...
Dave also showed a throwback clip of a 21-year-old Idris in his first tv tole as a pizza delivery boy in outspace. Watch the full episode here and check out Idris' interview at the 30:48 mark.
