YBF chick Kerry Washington attended the 2013 Human Rights Campaign Los Angeles Gala Saturday night. And the always-working actress took some time to do a little philanthropy.

Kerry and her "Scandal" co-stars got glam for a cause Saturday night at the JW Marriott Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE The fab actress snapped pics with Human Rights Campaign President Chad Griffin, Darby Stanchfield (Abby), President of Disney-ABC Television Group Anne Sweeney, actor Jeff Perry (Cyrus), actress Katie Lowes (Quinn), and actor/producer Dan Bucatinsky.
And this gorgeous strapless Jason Wu gown was perfect for her. The black bodice with white stitched trim and the tulle definitely upped her glam factor. Chick rarely ever disappoints.
We're loving this studded Bottega Veneta waxy knot clutch as well.
Kerry, who's also starring in the upcoming flick Peoples, recently explained to EBONY magazine why she was originally hesitant to take the role on Scandal.
"I thought, 'If the president on the show is Black, I will not do the show.' Because to me, it was too important a moment. I didn’t want to do anything that compromised my relationship with the [president] or that made it seem like I had an insider view on the Obama presidency.
I thought that would be so disrespectful and so against all the work that I had done. I was a little concerned because [Olivia] has a scandalous relationship with the [occupant of the] White House."
Makes sense.
