Over the last month or so, there have been rumors swirling that comedian Chris Rock, 57, is currently dating actress Lake Bell, 43, after they were spotted out together on multiple outings in Los Angeles. And it turns out, Chris’ brother, Tony Rock, is totally here for it.
TMZ photogs ran into Tony Rock at LAX airport to ask him what he thought about his brother’s new chick and he said he’s “happy” about it. Jokingly, he said the fact Chris’ love life is getting so much attention means he’s no longer in the “ugly guy” category.
”As a brother, I’m very happy for him because number one, nobody cares who the ugly guys are dating, nobody cares who the ugly celebrities are dating. So, the fact that this is getting so much attention, I’m like ‘damn, they must think my brother’s kinda handsome.' I’m happy for him to be in this new handsome light. They never put him in this handsome box before, but to care about who he’s dating, he must be in the handsome box now."
He joked that his brother must be “extra handsome” since a white girl is interested in him.
”It’s a white girl, so he’s extra handsome, I guess. She’s into him too and they usually don’t like us,” he said.
Tony said he hasn't met Lake yet, but he's looking forward to it.

Previously, Chris was married to Malaak Compton for nearly 20 years after tying the knot in 1996. They share two daughters: Lola and Zahra. Chris and Malaak finalized their divorce in 2016. He admitted to cheating on her with multiple women. Shortly after his divorce, the "Good Hair" star started dating Megalyn Echikunwoke. They were together for four years before they decided to call it quits. In 2020, he was rumored to be dating actress CarmenEjogo, but that fizzled out quickly.
No surprise Tony Rock is speaking out about his brother’s love life considering how he went HAM on Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith over the infamous Oscars slap. Chris said he doesn’t plan on speaking about “the slap” until he lands a comedy special. We wonder what’s taking so long...
