The EMMY nominations are in, and history is being made while our YBF faves are about to start stacking trophies.  Celebrate with the 2022 nominees inside!

Just gone ahead and put "historic" in front of Zendaya's name now, because she just made the history books once again with the latest Primetime EMMY nominations.

The "Euphoria" actress is now the youngest ever TWO-time acting nominee. The 25-year-old, who was also nominated and won for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2020 for her role in "Euphoria", is nominated once again in the same category.  She also received a few more nominations: She is now the youngest producing nom, as an exec producer on the series, which scored in Outstanding Drama.

The Spiderman franchise star also scored two nominations for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for two of the songs in the series that she sang/created, "I'm Tired" and "Elliot's Song".

Y'all know after that TUMULTUOUS and stressful AF episode where Zendaya/Rue went into withdrawal and had it out with her equally genius on screen mom, Nika King, and little sis Storm Reid, she had that nomination in the bag.  Congrats Z!

Speaking of queens....

Quinta Brunson racked up not one, but two nominations for her first EMMYS. "Abbott Elementary", our favorite new show that is the Philly native's brainchild, just got Quinta nods for Outstanding Writing In A Comedy Series AND Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.  Yasssss Quinta!

The show itself is also nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series.

Quinta joins sis Issa Rae in the Outstanding Lead Actress category, and we couldn't be prouder of Issa on her 6th EMMY nomination!  The nom is the perfect way to wrap up closing the book on "Insecure", even if she's being stingy and not giving us a movie

Next up for Issa - she's the creator of the pending cult fave "Rap Sh*t" which drops on HBO July 21st!

Quinta wasn't the only one who came out dripping in noms from the "Abbott" crew.  Majority of the lead cast is nominated as well! The iconic Sheryl Lee Ralph, (fine a**) Tyler James Williams and comedian turned actress turned game show host Janelle James also scored noms for Outstanding Supporting Actor and Actress in a Comedy Series.

Come thru Principal Ava!

Lizzo's show “Lizzo’s Watch Out For the Big Girls” clearly made a splash in its debut season, because it's now nominated for Outstanding Competition program.  Woot!  The show is facing off against “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, “Nailed It!” hosted by Nicole Byer (which Netflix oddly shut down production on a few months ago), "The Voice" and more.

Nicole and Ru Paul are also nominated for Outstanding Host For A Reality Or Competition Program for their respective shows.

Natasha Rothwell, who's been all over our screens since becoming the hilarious "Kelly" on "Insecure", was nominated for her role in HBO's hit show (and our surprise obsession) "White Lotus". Congrats girlie!

ALSO: Dave Chappelle's controversial stand-up, The Closer, was also nominated for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded).

In the Outstanding Narrator category, Former President Barack Obama (who already has a Grammy) will go up against Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, narrator of Black Patriots: Heroes of the Civil War, W. Kamau Bell, narrator of We Need to Talk About Cosby, and Lupita Nyong’o, who lent her voice to Serengeti II.

This year’s Emmy Awards will be broadcast live on NBC on September 12, and will also stream live on Peacock for the first time.
