It's not just a weekend of freedom for America the country, but Jhene Aiko and Big Sean just freed themselves from keeping their pregnancy to themselves. The couple just confirmed they're expecting, and the first pics of the baby bump are ADORBS! Get it all inside.
"Stay Ready" singer Jhene Aiko is pregnant! TMZ spotted her out in Beverly Hills yesterday with Jhene's baby bump on full display and a full on pregnancy glow.
The Twenty88 twosome - who have been together off and on since 2016 - were seen outside of Macy's looking super cute, with the "Hate Our Love" rapper admiring her bump in one of the pics. It's unclear how far along she is, but it's definitely far enough along to explain why she hid her bump under an oversized coat while performing in Chicago last month.
Once the pics surfaced earlier today, the couple's rep confirmed the pregnancy.
A rep for the couple confirms the news to TMZ ... "The couple are overjoyed and look forward to this next chapter."
Sweet. This will be Jhene's second child – she shares 13-year-old Namiko with singer O'Ryan– and Big Sean's first.
Rumors of Jhene being pregnant first hit last month when right before her Chicago performance (above), a fan spotted her at Whole Foods looking very pregnant and told the Twitterverse about it. The "snitch", black media outlets and anyone else who speculated got dragged for "outing" her news before she could. Interestingly, though, we don't see that same dragging for TMZ who broke the news with picture proof before the couple confirmed themselves as well.
Funny how those double standards work for certain media.
Anywho....
Back in 2020, about a month into lockdown while celebs were getting real comfortable with sharing on Lives, Sean told Jhene "It's in the works" when she told him to marry her in response to him saying how good she looked.

That came on the heels of Jhene dropping her "None of Your Concern" ft. Big Sean himself where he rapped about making her orgasm nine times in one day. So, yeah, we're shocked a pregnancy didn't happen sooner.
As for marriage, we wouldn't be surprised if they become one in their personal lives just like they have in their professional lives as the Twenty88 duo. Something tells us it may happen sooner rather than later now. This would also be Jhene's second marriage after she filed for divorce from producer Dot Da Genius in 2016 when she and Big Sean started getting closer....
We're super happy for the couple. Congrats to them!
