Newly fired “Black Ink” star Ceaser Emanuel speaks out for the first time since a video of him allegedly abusing his dog went viral. He claims the incident was a “mistake” and he believes someone is working behind-the-scenes to set him up. More of what he said inside…

If you haven’t heard, VH1 decided to cut ties with “Black Ink” honcho Ceaser Emanuel after a video (recorded from a security camera) surfaced that appears to show him abusing his dogs. It’s hard to watch Ceaser beat the dog with a folded medal chair and folks have been coming for his neck ever since it surfaced. You can view the disturbing video HERE

VH1 decided the video was enough proof to have him no longer associated with the show, so they announced he was fired via the network’s official Instagram page.

Turns out, Ceaser learned about his firing the same way we all did: social media.

”It’s funny, I was in the shop,” Ceaser told TMZ photog in his first interview since the dog video went viral while out in NYC. “I was in the shop and I seen it on Instagram. Everybody kept hitting me [up]. I started getting wild death threats. It was crazy. I had to turn off my comments. It got too crazy.”

Ceaser admitted he’s scared for his safety at this point.

A rep for Ceaser released a statement in response to the firing and the video not long after everything unfolded online.

”There is no police involvement,” Ceaser's lawyer WalterMosley told TMZ. “The video is old. It was shot at his residence in Atlanta during COVID."

We’re not sure what the timing of the incident has to do with what actually happened in the video, but we digress.

So, why did he do it?! Ceaser claims he was simply trying to separate his dogs because they were “trying to kill each other.” While trying to deescalate the situation and break up the dogs, he claims one of them tried to attack him.

”I was nervous and I was scared,” he said. “Not one time was I trying to abuse this dog.”

Ceaser said he knows the footage looks crazy, but he was trying to keep himself from being injured. Now, he wishes he had handled the situation a better way.

”I know the footage everybody is seeing - it looks crazy. Even me looking at it, it looks crazy. It’s a moment in time I wish I could take back,” he said.

It’s interesting because Ceaser confirms the footage was recorded off of his Ring security camera at his house. Since it was leaked, he believes he’s been “set up.”

”I’mma keep it a buck with you. I feel like I’m being set up in some way because the way I’m being portrayed is just like... that’s not my character.”

Hmm...is he hinting that it could be his ex-girlfriend Suzette Samuel? We hope not.

As for the dogs, Ceaser said they are fine. He said he gave one of the dogs away and put the other one in obedience training.

Former “Black Ink” star DonnaLombardi DRAGGED her former boss online, posting the dog abuse video with the caption, ”If you can treat a dog like this, it shows how sick of a person you truly are. I don’t even get into the life of this man, but this video made me so upset. Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE animals. Especially dogs,” Donna wrote. "Even after he beat his daughter up, @vh1 @viacom_intl & the new @blackinkcrew producers tried to protect Ceaser, even made up fake conflicting storylines about my relationship to do it!," she continued. "Now this, cannot be undone. I pray the people see you, @ceaserblackink , as the monster you are. Your karma has been adding up for years, but to do this to two innocent dogs!?! This is crazy. CHARGES NEED TO BE PRESSED, and CANCELLATIONS NEED TO BE MADE! THE WORLD IS WATCHING! EVERYONE MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE! CANT CHANGE THIS NARRATIVE!"

"Black Ink" fans have posted tons of tweets and social media posts wondering why VH1 decided to fire Ceaser when he abused his dogs, but when his estranged daughter, Cheyenne, revealed he abused her, nothing happened.

Fans dug up old comments former “Black Ink” star WalterMiller posted on Ceaser’s Instagram where he suggested the tattoo king doesn’t take good care of his dogs. You can catch up HERE.

And we'll just leave this here...

We came across an IG post Ceaser shared with pictures of himself with one of his dogs that he captioned, "KARMA has NO MENU. You get served what you DESERVE."
