Looks like Rih & Rocky's peaceful babymoon to her native Barbados started in chaos with viral cheating and breakup rumors. Now it's just ended in chaos too. Because the baby-daddy-to-be was just ARRESTED, and Rihanna was there witnessing it all go down.
According to NBC News, the Harlem rapper was detained in connection to a November 2021 shooting, a case that had not yet been reported in the media.
Mayers was arriving on a private plane from Barbados, where he had been on vacation with his girlfriend, the singer Rihanna.
According to the law enforcement sources, Rihanna was with Mayers when he was arrested, and a search warrant has been executed at Mayers’ residence in Los Angeles.
Mayers' attorney, Alan Jackson, confirmed that his client had been arrested.
Rocky's arrest is for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon as an alleged victim claims the "F'in Problem" rapper fired a gun at him 3-4 times the night of November 6th, 2021. According to the alleged victim, a verbal altercation went down between him and Rocky, who are acquaintances, in the Hollywood area, then things escalated. The alleged victim claims A$AP shot at him multiple times, leading to a bullet grazing his left hand, and then fled on foot with two other males.
"Mayers had been under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department for a Nov. 6 shooting near Vista Del Mar and Selma Ave. around 10:20 pm. The shooting victim later told police that Mayers, who was walking with two others, approached him with a handgun on the street. The victim claimed Mayers shot at him three to four times and believed one of the bullets grazed his left hand, according to police reports.
The shooting had not yet been reported in the media. In a statement on Twitter after publication of this article, the LAPD gave details of the November incident and said, "Early this morning, LAPD officers arrested Mayers for assault with a deadly weapon (firearm) at the Los Angeles International Airport. The case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for filing consideration.""

NBC News reports, "LAPD made the arrest with assistance from Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations team." Bond was set at $550,000, TMZ reports. TMZ also revealed, "Cops say A$AP knew the alleged victim, and the alleged shooting happened after an argument between the two. The LAPD says they worked to corroborate the info the victim told them about the alleged incident, which helped them to identify Rocky as the suspect."
A source told Entertainment Tonight,“This drama is the last thing Rihanna needs right now. She wants to be mellow, relaxed, and focused 100 percent on the arrival of her baby – not stressing out!” They added, “This arrest was not something they saw coming.”
Rocky and Rihanna are expecting their first child together soon as the "Man Down" singer recently revealed to VOGUE in her latest cover story that she's in her third trimester.

Newly surfaced video shows the SWAT team smashing through Rocky's front door at his LA home. Reportedly they have a search warrant.

This isn't the first time A$AP's been caught up by the law. Back in 2019, he was arrested in Sweden after a street scuffle while he was there performing (atop), and he spent over a month behind bars.
