Glamour is BACK, and it's about damn time.  The first Academy Awards ceremony at the Dolby Theater since the pandemic did not disappoint, because the star-ruhs came out swinging (no pun intended re: Will).  Inside, The Carters, Tracee, Chloe & Halle, Venus & Serena, Zendaya and tons more prove their red carpet fabness was worth the wait.

Ugh, we're still gagging about what came down the 2022 Oscars red carpet.  Mostly everybody slayed and served.  Even those who skipped the televised carpet and showed up when they felt like showing up, per usual.

Beyonce - whose pre-recorded performance from a Compton tennis court opened the show of her nominated song "Be Alive" - graced the Oscars with her presence alongside her husband Jay-Z.

She kept with the tennis theme by rocking a diamond encrusted tennis ball purse (OMG we LOOOOOOOVE), a tennis ball yellow-colored, off-shoulder gown by former Mugler designer David Koma and matching gloves and shoes.  She also rocked the London based designer for her performance - a lime, feather embellished, high slit gown with a crystal garter.

Niecy Nash - in a hot pink Monsoori official gown, a Sophia Webster purse and Flor de Maria shoes - and wife Jessica Betts - in a Richfresh suit - got kissy on the carpet:

King Richard stars Saaniya Sidney and Demi Singleton made perfect Oscar debuts:

Saaniya looked adorbs in a floral gown from Armani Prive. And Demi gave exactly what she was supposed to in Miu Miu:

Stunning.

Batman star Zoe Kravitz was on hand to present in an Audrey Hepburn-esque vibe.  She looked pretty in a baby pink strapless gown by Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent:

She even a "Big Little Lies" reunion with Nicole Kidman.  Love to see it!  Also, we need season 2, please and thank you.

Diddy - who was there to present - brought his aspiring actress daughter, Chance, along for a night she'll remember forever.  It was definitely some epic daddy-daughter time all night.

Diddy rocked a Frere tux and a Zenga cape with Lorraine Schwartz jewels while Chance wore Dolce & Gabbana.

The 16-year-old is growing up!  And she's absolutely gorgeous.

Zendaya served up her modeliciousness as she always does in Maison Valentino, styled by the genius Luxury Law:

Whew.

Lupita Nyong'o dripped in gold fringe Prada to walk the red carpet and stage as a presenter:

She never misses.

Laverne Cox looked better than ever as E!'s red carpet host in August Getty Atelier:

Hollywood glam is always a good look for her.

Speaking of Hollywood glam  - the queen of serving up fabulous fashion, Tracee Ellis Ross - was a vision in Carolina Herrera's signature red before presenting:

Body on 100 too.  Gorgeous.

Nominee turned winner Will and Jada were all smiles on the carpet, and actually looked stunning as a couple:

And chaos they did cause. Ha!

Jada looked more amazing than ever in an emerald green Jean Paul Gaultier gown - likely another nod to her husband's tennis film. She paired it with Jimmy Choo shoes.

Venus and Serena's big night ended with a Best Actor Oscar for Will Smith and plenty of praise for their film about their father, King Richard.  But first, Serena hit the carpet in the color of the season - a hot pink flowy Gucci gown and jewelry from her own line:

And Venus gave goddess vibes in Elie Saab:

Hot.

Another set of sisters who killed it on the carpet were Chloe & Halle Bailey.  Their first trip to the Oscars was a major one as it was Halle's 22nd birthday and she was tapped to present as one of Disney's newest princesses - The Little Mermaid:

Halle showed off that perfect skin with the perfect color aqua ROberto Cavalli dress, giving mermaid vibes as she should.  Chloe went for it and looked amazing in an ULTRA high slit dress, custom from l.v.d.f. (who also designed the dancers' looks for Beyonce's "Be Alive" opening performance).

Megan Thee Stallion showe dup and showed OUT, OK.  She was fresh off the plane from performing at a festival in Puerto Rico, and dipped onto the red carpet before her surprise performance with the Encanto cast:

Oh, this look is THE ONE. She had it shpped from India and arrived the day of the show.

Also, she's the newly crowned TikTok queen because her voiceovers have us DYING every time. Check out her Oscars recap below:

Ha!

Comedian Tiffany Haddish kept it cute before having to CLEAR a reporter on the red carpet for calling her custom Dolce & Gabbana gown a "costume":

Pretty Pretty.

Queen Latofah made a statement in yellow as she was there to support her partner Eboni Nichols who was the choreographer for the Oscars this year.  Hair and makeup always on point. Nice!

Maya Rudolph gave some vintage Hollywood vibes in a feather-trimmed draped gown.

Rosie Perez was a stunner in red, hitting the Oscars red carpet for the first time in 28 years.  The "Flight Attendant" star was there to present and celerate the 30th anniversary of White Men Can't Jump.

This Christian Siriano gown was perfect for her.

Rosie's legendary co-star and the original BLADE, Wesley Snipes, was there to present and honor their film as well.  He made a bold maroon move with the short set.  But it works.

Jilly from Philly was in the place to be to help celebrate Summer of Soul with her fellow Philly native, nominee Questlove.

2/3 of the hosts from the night - Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes - hit the carpet befre kicking off their historic hosting duties.  And they killed it on stage by the way.

Regina wore a nude Vera Wang gown that was a bit underwhelming, but she def made up for it with her multiple wardrobe changes on stage.

Wanda Sykes wore a crisp Sergio Hidson suit.  Loved it.

King Richard star and Oscar nominee Aunjanue Ellis made a statement in Versace.  Always a queen.

Oscar winner David Oyelowo and his wife Jessica were styled in Kutula to salute Africa on the carpet.

Oscar winning Director Ava Duvernay hit the carpet in Louis Vuitton:

OK!

DJ Khaled was there for a surprise performance during the opening number from the hosts:

Y'all know he was mad happy about it too...

Oscar winner Daniel Kaluuya brought the satin tux vibes to the carpet to present alongside H.E.R.

And your favorite songbird rocked another color of the season - lime - in a Carolina Herrera gown and hot Guseppe Zanotti heels.  She also won an Oscar for Best Original Song for Judas & The Black Messiah.

Nate Parker was there in a razor sharp tux with a textured jacket and a bow tie.

2-time Academy Award winner Cynthia Erivo posed it up in Louis Vuitton, and was spotted sitting next to rumored girlfried Lena Waithe.

And finally, DJ D-Nice was all sparkles in Dolce & Gabbana as the house DJ during the Awards show and even the after party.  Nice!
