Drake is heavy on the philanthropic acts! And he's making sure it's part of his marketing for his partnership with an online gaming company, Stake.
One thing Drizzy is going to do is give back. He’s already rich, however, he says when he gives back to the community, it makes his soul feel rich.
This week, Lobos 1707 Tequila hosted a star-studded dinner ahead of the Lakers & Raptors game in Toronto at Harbour 60 restaurant to celebrate its launch into the Canadian market. The tequila arrives in Ontario this spring on the heels of Lobos 1707's successful US launch. And it’s a huge deal for the independent brand as it expands into Canada.
Not only did Drizzy & King James celebrate the tequila brand’s expansion, they also were there to give back!

After winning a massive bet via an online roulette table on Stake.com, the Grammy Award winning rapper decided to donate his earnings - in partnership with Stake - to LeBron’s school. Not only that, Drizzy has plans on dropping off the money at the school himself.
“WOW! I appreciate it. My kids are going to go crazy,” Bron said before hugging Drizzy.
That’s not all!
The “God’s Plan” rapper also invited a high school basketball player and his mom to the dinner for a HUGE surprise. A life-changing surprise.
The Certified Lover Boygifted local high school basketball player Michael (of Royal Crown Academy) and his mother $100,000 - in cash! He also laced the upcoming college freshman some new sneakers.
“Hopefully it makes this journey a little easier,” Drake said to the mother after gifting her the money.
The mom couldn’t believe what was happening.
”Am I dreaming?!,” she asked. Aww!
Drizzy also gifted stacks of money and shoes to the high school basketball coach.
