Right after landing the biggest NFL contract with the Cleveland Browns, NFL quarterback Deshaun Watson stepped out to support his girlfriend, Jilly Anais, as she was tapped to perform at a festival in Houston.

Deets on his night out on the town, plus why the Browns are basically ignoring the 22 civil suits filed against Deshaun, plus talk about Odell Beckham Jr. willing to return to the Browns after the big trade inside…

Although he made NFL history with the stroke of a pen, NFL quarterback DeshaunWatson didn’t let the hype around his new contract stop him from supporting his girlfriend, Jilly Anais.

As you know by now, the Cleveland Browns made a historic deal to acquire Deshaun Watson, offering him a five-year, $230 million GURANTEED contract after he waved his No Trade clause with the Texans despite 22 civil lawsuits pending against him. It’s the largest guaranteed amount in NFL.

Before jetting off to Cleveland, Deshaun stepped out to support his girlfriend Jilly, Anais, who served up a rap performance to open up for 2 Chainz at the Texas Smoke Break Fest in Houston. She was originally scheduled to perform at the Toyota Center for Chris Brown's tour, but she said the show was canceled during soundcheck.

On social media…

The aspiring rap star shared some photos from her performance and the struggles she went through before actually hitting the stage.

”Yesterday was a world wind of emotions. From the show at the Toyota Center getting cancelled while at sound check, to being able to open up for 2 Chainz with an hour notice all I can say is I am so thankful my team and I were still able to perform what we spent months preparing for,” she shared. “I thank God that through the unimaginable we held it together and came out on top! I’m beyond thankful for my entire team, choreographer & all my dancers! This is only the beginning!”

While some football fans were praising the Browns for giving Deshaun a second chance, others weren’t too happy about it due to his off-field controversy. Some feel like it’s a slap in the face of the 22 accusers who filed civil suits against him for sexual misconduct. As a result of the allegations, Deshaun did not play last season.

Before the Browns decided to offer a contract to the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback, they said they performed “extensive investigative, legal and reference work.” What they failed to mention was the fact that they didn’t contact high-profile Texas attorney TonyBuzbee, lawyer for the 22 women who sued Deshaun for sexual misconduct during massage therapy sessions.

“The Browns organization did not reach out to me,” Tony Buzbee told ESPN.com. “I didn’t expect them to do so, and can understand why they didn’t. But, knowing what I know, they probably should have.”

Had the Browns spoke to Tony Buzbee, he likely would have went on every platform he could to talk about how the Browns STILL chose to hire Deshaun despite everything he told them.

A Texas grand jury declined to indict and criminally charge Deshaun for sexual misconduct allegations made by the women. Throughout the ordeal, Deshaun has denied any wrongdoing. Last week, his lawyer said he “did not commit any crimes and is not guilty of any offenses."

The trade will not affect the NFL’s investigation into Deshaun...allegedly. He could still possibly face a suspension (a minimum of six games) for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, but we won’t know for sure until the investigation is complete.

Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. could find his way back into a Browns uniform. Word on the curb is that OBJ isn’t opposed to returning to the Browns to play with Deshaun, according to Cleveland.com. It’s reported OBJ wanted to leave Cleveland after having a falling out with QB Baker Mayfield. Now that he’s likely going to be traded, OBJ wouldn’t mind reuniting with the team.

The free agent wide receiver - who recently became a first-time dad - signed a one-year deal worth up to $4.25 million with the Rams. He played an intrical part in the Rams clenching the Super Bowl title last month before getting hurt.

Interesting indeed.
