The Bajan beauty has been slaying the fashion game since she hit the scene in 2005. So, when the CFDA Fashion Icon announced she was pregnant, we didn’t expect anything less when it came to giving the GWORLS what they want. It’s as if we’re watching a master class in dressing up your baby bump in real-time. And we’re loving all of it.
”[Pregnancy's] a long nine to 10 months. You have to enjoy it," Rihanna told Entertainment Tonight. "Fashion is one of my favorite things, so, you know, we’re defying what it even means to be pregnant and maternal. It can get uncomfortable at times and so you can dress the part and pretend."
"It’s all an exciting journey so far. I’m just taking it as it comes every week. There’s always something new and I’m just taking it and I’m enjoying it,” she continued.
RiRi’s maternity style features a wide range of pieces that aren’t typical considered in “maternity” fashion, but she’s Rihanna. Anything goes because she loves taking risks when it comes to dressing her body. She’s reinventing the pregnancy fashion game with oversized coats over her bare belly, thigh high boots, cut-out jumpsuits, sheer lingerie, crop tops, fur and more!

When she’s not showing off her growing belly, she’s killing it in winter fashions like this floor-length Y/Project Fall/Winter 2022 shearling coat that she styled with brown thigh-high boots and a hoodie while making her rounds in Paris during Paris Fashion Week. Cozy and chic.
The Fenty Beauty mogul enjoyed dinner with Mel Ottenberg (editor-in-chief at Interview Magazine) rocking a teal cut-out Stella McCartney jumpsuit on Friday (March 4th).

RiRi and Rocky were spotted out in NYC for a dinner date at Carbone restaurant (Feb. 18th) where she kept it comfortably chic in a R13 padded bomber jacket, a vintage New York mets t-shirt, Martine Rose jeans and Amina Muaddi sandals.
Serving up rich Little Red Riding Hood vibes, RiRi made her way to the Savage x Fenty store grand opening in Los Angles (Feb. 12th) rocking a custom Alaïa look which she paired with custom red Amina Muaddi sandals.

Making her way to her favorite restaurant Giorgio Baldi with family and friends (Feb. 9th), the stylish mom-to-be turned heads in a vintage denim & fur Roberto Cavalli coat, a fur-trimmed Fendi top, an Awake NY logo came cap, Tom Ford snakeskin sandals and a Christian Dior saddle bag.
Shortly after her pregnancy announcement, the “Umbrella” singer was spotted making her rounds in Los Angeles (Feb. 6th), bumping along in a Carhartt x Wardrobe.NYC reversible jacket, The Attico jeans, a Jean Paul Gaultier lace-up cardigan and Jimmy Choo pumps.
Of course, haters will say a pregnant woman shouldn't be baring her belly at all. Actress Jada Pinkett Smith begs to differ:
