Supermodel Naomi Campbell shocked the world when she revealed she welcomed a daughter last May. She only shared minor details about her baby girl and only showed a picture of her little feet.
Now, she’s giving the world its first look at her mini-model-in-the-making.
Photographed by Steven Meisel, the 51-year-old iconic model rocked an all-black Valentino ensemble accessorized with vintage jewels from FD Gallery as she cradled her adorable baby girl on the cover of British VOGUE's March 2022 issue.
”She wasn’t adopted – she’s my child,” the proud mom gushed.
It's unclear if she meant that literally or figuratively as many adoptive parents don't like to identify their child solely as "adopted", but simply theirs.
In the cover story, the supermodel didn’t share many details about the process of having her daughter, but she wants everyone to know that her “biggest blessing” loved beyond measure.
“I can count on one hand the number of people who knew that I was having her,” she added. “But she is the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
Baby Naomi isn’t even one yet, but she loves to travel and she’s already hitting milestones at her young age.
“She’s a good girl: she sleeps very well, she hardly ever cries and I’m told she’s very alert for her age. She’s just started waving, which is fun. She laughs a lot. She’s almost talking,” she shared.
“I think she might walk before she crawls. And she’s got six teeth already," she said, adding: "Truly a model baby. A supermodel’s model baby.”
It seems Naomi’s daughter is uber ready for her close up.
“She loves the light. She’s inquisitive. She was looking at everyone – she looks at people right in the eye and for a very long time. She was taking it all in,” she continued.
After building an incomparable career, motherhood came later in life for Naomi, but motherhood was always in the cards for the model.
“I always knew that one day I would be a mother, but it’s the biggest joy I could ever imagine,” she said. “I’m lucky to have her and I know that.”
With the way Naomi’s daughter is hitting major milestones, she’s seemingly getting ready to get out of the way for another child. Is there a possibility for another baby?
”Why not,” the veteran model responded.
Sweet. We could totally see Naomi behind a double stroller, pulling up to events with her kiddies.

On social media, fans keep questioning why Naomi didn't "choose" a "darker skinned" baby since she has dark skin herself. She hasn't responded to the controversy and likely won't. No need to. She chose the child she wanted and there's nothing really to debate there. Especially if it's still unclear if whether a surragacy with her own eggs, a surrogacy without, or adoption occured.
