Joe Rogan Apologizes After India Arie Shares Now VIRAL Video Of His Excessive Use Of The N-Word Amid Her Spotify Boycott

After announcing she wanted her music yanked from Spotify, India Arie shared a video of podcaster Joe Rogan excessively using the n-word, further solidifying why she doesn’t want any association with a brand who pays someone millions to spew racism.

Now, he’s apologizing. Of course. Deets inside…

Spotify has been put on BLAST over controversial comments made by popular podcaster Joe Rogan - whom they just gave a $100M exclusivity deal to - about race and misinformation about the COVID-19 vaccine. Spotify has come under fire for COVID-19 misinformation being spread by reality host-turned-COVID-controversy king, Joe Rogan, which led several musicians and customers to boycott the platform.

Earlier this week, India Arie announced she wanted her music YANKED from the streaming platform, following in the footsteps of Neil Young and Joni Mitchell, who also requested to have their music removed due to Rogan's controversial comments on his podcast.

”I have decided to pull my music and podcast from Spotify,” said India Arie. “Neil Young opened a door that I must walk through. I believe in freedom of speech. However, I find Joe Rogan problematic for reasons other than his Covid interviews. FOR ME ITS ALSO HIS language around race.”

To further back up why she decided to have her music removed, the “I Am Not My Hair” singer shared a compilation video of Joe Rogan excessively using the n-word. And he’s actually saying it. Not only that, he also makes a racist “Planet of the Apes” joke.

The soulful songstress shared the clip on her IG Stories (which is still in her highlights) where she emphasized that she doesn’t want to make money for a brand that pays a podcaster MILLIONS to disrespect her people and culture. She said she believes "that Joe Rogan has the right to say whatever he wants to say," but that she also has the right to say what she wants.

”Spotify is built on the back of the music streaming. So they take this money that's built from streaming and they pay this guy $100 million, but they pay us .003 percent of a penny? Just take me off. That's where I'm at," she said on her IG Stories under highlights titled “Delete Spotify.”

Below is the n-word clip:

The singer doubled down on her comments and explained why she’s having her catalog removed from Spotify during an appearance on “The Tampon Hall Show.” Check it:

Of course, Joe is apologizing now…as they all do once they’re put on full blast.

"There's a video that's out, that's a compilation of me saying the n-word. It's a video that's made of clips taken out of context of me of 12 years of conversations on my podcast, and it's all smushed together,” he said in the apology video.

He said he felt he thought he could say the n-word, citing black comedians Redd Foxx and Richard Pryor’s use of the word.

”Now, I haven't said it in years, but for a long time, when I would bring that word up, like, if it would come up in conversation and instead of saying the n-word, I would just say the word -- I thought as long as it was in context, people would understand what I was doing."

He also addressed the racist joke he made after a taxi driver dropped him off in a black neighborhood in Philly, which he said “it was like they were in 'Planet of the Apes.'"

”I was just saying there's a lot of black people there. But, then I went on to talk about what a positive experience it was and how much fun it was to go to see this movie in a black neighborhood."

Wow. Peep his apology above.

Is it time Spotify get rid of Joe Rogan? Or are they just doing the bare minimum to appease folks until this "blows over" because profits over people?
