The “Celebrity Big Brother” cast has been announced, revealing YBF celebs Lamar Odom, Cynthia Bailey, Todrick Hall, and Todd Bridges will be competing for the Big Brother crown, following previous rumors that NeNeLeakes, Tiffany “New York” Pollard and Ne-Yo would be joining the cast.

Deets inside…

Season 3 of “Celebrity Big Brother” is set to start next month, following Tamar Braxton’s epic win in 2019.

”Big Brother” fans were desperate to find out which celeb would be joining Season 3 of the hit game show. There’s a dedicated Big Brother Twitter account that released a list of names of possible house guests that would be joining this season.

Before the official cast announcement was made, there were rumors that former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes, “Flavor of Love” star Tiffany “New York” Pollard, R&B singer Ne-Yo, track and field star Sha'Carri Richardson, and former NBA star Lamar Odom would be pulling up at the house.

They got 1 out of 5 right.

YBF Celebs gearing up to compete include former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star CynthiaBailey, former Los Angeles Lakers baller Lamar Odom, "Diff'rent Strokes" actor ToddBridges, and singer/influencer TodrickHall.

The rest of the cast includes former Miss USA ShannaMoakler, TV personality Teddi Mellencamp, style guru Carson Kressley, Olympian ice-skater Mirai Nagasu, *NSYNC's Chris Kirkpatrick, "Saturday Night Live" alumnus Chris Kattan and UFC fighter Miesha "Cupcake" Tate are also slated to compete.

Not long after reports of New York joining the cast did rumors began to spread that she would NOT become a house guest due to not receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. Well, New York says that’s CAP! On here Instagram page, she confirmed she has been vaccinated, but she didn’t reveal why she’s not joining the new season of “Celebrity Big Brother”:

"I’ve been vaccinated for work purposes months ago!," Tiffany wrote on IG. "Whatever happened to simply asking for proof of vaccination. I would never jeopardize the health of others on set or any other public gathering for that matter. For people that choose to not get the vaccine that’s their right too. I’m not “preachy” about any of this.We are all figuring out our individual situations one day at a time.”

It’s still unclear why New York will not be joining the cast.

Season 3 is more melanated due to CBS setting diversity targets for their reality casts where 50% of the cast must be Black, Indigenous or People of Color (BIPOC). The network could be trying to recreate the success of The Cookout on the latest season of regular "Big Brother".

Season 3 of “Celebrity Big Brother” comes after the show's nearly three-year hiatus. Although reality queens NeNe Leakes and New York will not be joining the cast this season, it still looks like it’ll be a tea-worthy season. Will you be tuning in when it premieres next week?
