Remember Latocha Scott...that one voice we could always distinguish out of the group Xscape? Well she's back with new music...and a new reality show. Deets inside...
While being in Xscape alongside her sister Tamika, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, and Kandi Burruss, Latocha was always the one with THAT voice. Now, after both Kandi & Tiny have had reality tv success to propel their families and careers, Latocha is about to get in on that world as well.
She's officially signed on for a reality show on VH1, the same network home as her former groupmate Tiny. The yet-to-be-titled show is based on LaTocha returning to the music industry as a brand new woman. And how she changed her life after XSCAPE--physically, mentally & spiritually.
Of course, she'll be pubbing her new book, a new foundation (GOLDEN GYRL FOUNDATION), a new mixtape called "TRUTH IN THE BOOTH" dropping early 2013, and a new album yet to be titled.
It will show her family life in Atlanta (like the pic above she tweeted during Thanksgiving weekend fun) and the rough task of getting back to the top of the music charts.
And, we hear that the show will address each Xscape group member as she reconciles the issues of the past.
LaTocha's son Jamon Bivens, who is a sophomore in high school, will also be on the show as he's currently being scouted by top colleges across the country for basketball. And yes, he can sing too.
We're usually not fans of people with actual talent getting a reality show, but we may actually be watching this one.

LaTocha revealed about the song,“I wrote this song, because Christmas is the time of the year when people miss their loved ones the most. Sometimes being with the one you love is better than getting the biggest gift on your wish list.”
