Toni Braxton and Birdman are still together and they’re still engaged.
The R&B legend and Cash Money honcho’s on-again/off-again relationship often times keeps fans guessing what’s really good between them, especially since they have seemingly been holding out on getting married. Last year, there were rumors of a breakup, but they are still together and keeping a low profile.
On tonight’s episode of “Braxton Family Values,” Toni hops on a video conference with her sister Traci Braxton. And it’s very clear the siblings haven’t spoken to one another in a LONG time. In the clip, Traci tells Toni how her husband and son are still going out to work during the pandemic because they are first responders. It’s obvious how much they lack in communication because Toni has no idea what her brother-in-law and nephew did for a living.
When Traci askes Toni what she has been up, the Grammy award winning singer dishes on what is has been like being in quarantine with her “fiancé” and her two sons, Denim& Diezel.

Toni, 53, and Birdman, 51, started dating in 2016, even though they have known each other for over 17 years prior. In 2018, Birdman asked Toni to marry him (gifting her $5 million wedding ring that she ended up losing) and their engagement announcement was made on an episode of “BFV.”
In November 2018, Toni went on Wendy Williams to gush about her relationship and wedding deets. She talked about how challenging it had been for them to stick to a wedding date due to their demanding schedules.
In January 2019, rumors of a breakup started circulating after Birdman got in his feelings and hopped on Instagram Stories to air out his frustrations. He wrote, "It's over...." then quickly deleted the post. He also deleted all of the photos on his Instagram. Toni followed suit, deleting all but one photo on her IG account. She posted a picture of herself in a red dress with the caption, "Starting a new chapter isn't always an easy choice...but ALWAYS choose to be chosen. Cheers to a new year."
Looks like Birdman chose her again because they’re back together. Still no wedding date though.
