Season 9 of “Basketball Wives” is back underway after initially getting shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Several of your faves (and your faves to hate) will be returning, so you already know ish is going to get crazy. More inside…
”Basketball Wives” fans likely will not get any new episodes this year, but the good news is the show is back in production. It was shut down months ago when the Coronavirus hit, which caused the new season to be put on halt.
Now, the ladies are back to filming. The entire cast hasn’t officially been revealed just yet, but we do know a few of your faves will be returning.
In February, ”BBW” veteran Jackie Christie announced on her Instagram Stories production of the realty series had started back up.
By the end of March, Los Angeles was shut down due to the pandemic. Now Jackie and the ladies are back at it:
”BBW” OG Tami Roman previously said she would not be returning after last season, so she will not be in the mix. However, there are several ladies who are.
Ogom “OG” Chijindu will be making a comeback:
It’s said Malaysia Pargo and Kristen Scott were spotted being tested for COVID to start filming Season 9.
Evelyn Lozada will reportedly return as she was spotted filming scenes according to Jasmine Brand sources.
It’ll be interesting to see how they navigate filming since OG is suing Evelyn for defamation.

Rumor has it Season 3 star Brittish Williams will be returning. She taped with Jackie for an episode of her ‘The Jackie Christie Podcast.’
It’s likely executive producer Shaunie O’Neal will return. Jennifer Williams is rumored to be returning as well. It’s unclear if Feby Torres or newlywed CeCe Gutierrez will be returning. CeCe should return just to throw her new marriage in the faces of everybody who was hating on her. Petty times call for petty measures.
Season 8 was insane, so if this upcoming season is anything like the last one, it'll be a drama fest for sure.
