Coming to America is gearing up for a comeback 30+ years after the original.
We already told you lead star Eddie Murphy was attachedto the sequel, but it wasn't clear whether or not he would star in it. Now, we know.
Paramout Pictures confirmed the 57-year-old actor will star in the upcoming sequel, set to hit theaters next year. Details about the plot are being kept low key for now. Will the African prince Akeem and his wife Lisa still be married and happily in love? Will the sequel follow the life of his heir to the throne of Zamunda? So many questions.
There were a few hints a sequel might have been on its way before the official announcement in 2017.
