Lil Wayne hit the stage last night and everyone is coming after him for his fashion flair, including Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin. See his edgy look inside...
What in the Apple Bottom Jeans, Boots With Erykah Badu's Fur is going on here?
Lil Wayne has everyone coming for him after his appearance at the College Football Playoff National Championship Halftime Show. Imagine Dragons were tapped as the headliners, but they brought Weezy out during their set and he totally stole the show.
The Young Money honcho popped up on stage in a black, white and blue floor length fur coat, paired with black and white scarf, red pants, rhinestone encrusted sunglasses, fingerless gloves and a floppy hat. He then finished the look with a pair of knee high furry boots. The "Lollipop" rapper has an obsession with Ugg boots, so no surprise there.
The Grammy Award winning rapper performed his track "Uproar" before joining Imagine Dragons for a verse on their new collaboration "Believer."
Peep a clip from his performance below:
As expected, Twitter didn't waste any time to offer up literary award winning commentary on his lewk:

Matt Bevin, the Governor of Kentucky, was NOT a fan of Weezy's attire and made it known on social media:
Way to ruin an entertaining @Imaginedragons half-time concert with the weird rantings of a tired, has-been like @LilTunechi... One act still rising...The other, not so much...
— Matt Bevin (@MattBevin) January 8, 2019
Wayne fans aren't here for the governor coming for the rap gawd, so they popped back:
I am not joking when I say that I’d proudly vote Lil Wayne for governor before i vote for Matt Bevin. https://t.co/uYL6koiQK5
— Brandon Patterson (@brandonpatt) January 8, 2019
well if there's anyone who knows weird, tired rantings when they see 'em, it's you
— actioncookbook (@actioncookbook) January 8, 2019
I can’t wait until we vote you out of office.

Worry less about the best rapper alive and try to stop being the worst governor alive.

Not sure what's funnier, him pretending he has real opinions about the freshness of Lil Wayne's work or the fact that Matt Bevin is basically the ideal consumer for whom the NCAA picked Imagine Dragons.

apparently matt bevin loves imagine dragons about as much as he hates lil wayne
