Nicki Minaj has been having fun with her "bad guy" persona, but she's about to let uber vulnerable in her upcoming QUEEN documentary. But not everyone is buying it.
The Young Money rapper shared a few candid clips from her documentary (that's dropping on Apple Music "soon") where she breaks down while talking about her troubled childhood. The "Chun-Li" rapper fought back tears as she explained how her father used to abuse her mother. She said she would jump in front of her mother to protect her.
"I remember when my mother would let my father be violent with her," she said while wrapping her arms around herself. "And she always brings up this story - as a little girl, I would stand in front of my mother and go like this [holds arms out]. Maybe some people would describe me as abrasive or bitchy or whatever, because I vowed from that age, no man would ever abuse me, call me out my name, treat me like that. And then all of a sudden, that was my life."

In a second clip, the "Ganja Burns" rapper gets candid about her own abusive relationship.
“Who was I gonna inspire when I had nothing in me to give," she asked. "I let one human being make me so low that I didn’t even remember who I was. I was scared to get in the studio because I didn’t believe in myself.”
Wow. She alluded to this being a recent relationship, so naturally, folks think it's Meek Mill since their relationship is around the same time she went MIA for a bit.

Nicki doesn't mention who she's referring to in the clip. However, Meek has seemingly responded. He put up a post with a quote about narcissists and captioned, "Lol."
No word yet on when the QUEEN documentary will be released. She just said "soon," so be on the lookout.
