Another completely unfortunate story to remind us all to be extra careful in these internet dating streets.  A man used Tinder to reportedly rape and murder women across several states. Get the deets on how the monster was caught and more inside...

Listen up! This is a story everyone should learn from especially since online dating has seemingly become the new norm when it comes to meeting new people.

A 27-year-old man was arrested in Los Angeles for allegedly sexually assaulting and trying to kill a woman there. The suspect's name is Danueal Drayton of New Haven, Connecticut (above). He has been accused of using online dating sites, like Tinder, to target victims.

Now, authorities are piecing together a timeline of events that could reveal Drayton has been torturing women across the nation.

He's wanted in NYC for the murder of a 29-year-old nurse in Queens named Samantha Steweart (above). She was found dead a few weeks ago after allegedly meeting Drayton on Tinder. The NY Post reports:

Cops found Samantha Stewart just after 9 p.m. Tuesday at her Jamaica home on 145th Road near 167th Street — with trauma to her neck and head, cops said.

The 29-year-old nurse was wrapped in a white sheet on the floor of her bedroom — with her teeth knocked out and her tongue hanging out of her mouth, her distraught relatives told The Post.

Samantha's brothers discovered her dead inside of her home.

Samantha died of “manual strangulation,” according to the City’s Medical Examiner. Her death is being investigated as a homicide.

A 23-year-old Brooklyn woman also claims she was raped by Drayton after reportedly meeting him on Tinder on June 17th.

The NY1 reports:

The woman told investigators they met at a Dunkin Donuts on Third Avenue in Gowanus. She says they later bought wine and went to an office in Sheepshead Bay, where the suspect allegedly choked her, causing her to pass out. The woman told detectives when she woke up, she found Drayton sexually assaulting her, an ordeal that went on for hours.

Detectives were able to link DNA from the alleged rape scene to DNA discovered at the scene of the murder. The evidence concluded it was likely the same person who had committed both crimes.

After committing the crimes in NYC, Drayton reportedly jetted to Los Angeles where he held another woman captive against her will after a date. Heavy.com reports:

They tracked him to an apartment in north Hollywood, and alerted Los Angeles officers to his location.

The LAPD arrested arrested Drayton in the middle of the afternoon on Tuesday, July 24. Investigators found a woman with him, who they say Drayton was holding captive. She had been tied up against her will. Prosecutors say the woman and Drayton had gone out on a date before heading back to her apartment.

According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Drayton has been charged with attempted murder, forcible rape, sexual penetration by a foreign object and false imprisonment. Jail records show that bond was set at $1.25 million in the Los Angeles case. Drayton has not yet been changed for the alleged crimes in New York.

It's reported Drayton has a criminal history with violence in the past. In June 2018, he was arrested after an ex-girlfriend accused him of choking her at Inwood Park in Nassau County. He later slashed the woman's tires and reportedly sent threatening messages on Facebook. His bond was set at $1,000 (on June 5th), but for some reason the judge dropped the bail requirement (against advice from the district attorney NOT to) and he was released.

Back in 2011, he was also arrested for an alleged strangulation.

Now, police are encouraging any other potential victims to come forward. He has reportedly been using dating sites to lure in his victims and there may be several more women out there who have been assaulted by him.

Our condolences go out to all the the victims' loved ones.

We've got to be extra careful who we let into our homes because we all know it's not safe out here, especially for black women. Period.
