That MAJOR 24 Karat Magic World Tour extension with Bruno Mars that Cardi B. was set to join this September will be going on without the record breaking raptress. Because, mommyhood.
Here's what Cardi and Bruno said about her choosing to be a mother first.
Cardi B. won't be going on tour with Bruno Mars this fall afterall. We all low-key thought there was a pretty significant chance this would happen once Cardi settled into mommy mode, and she herself said she underestimated "this whole mommy thing" and her bounce-back ability. She also said doctors advised against bringing her and husband Offset's baby girl on tour with her.
The "Finesse" rapper said in a statement about not joining Bruno's 24 Karat Magic world tour extension:

Chick's been going through it as a first time mom. Baby Kulture, being the newborn that she is, isn't letting mommy get any sleep and has been acting "spicy" some days, according to Cardi. Ha.

Bruno chimed in saying he completely understands and will still be saluting her every night with a Bodak Yellow set.

Her fans have been tweeting their support and understanding too. Six weeks maternity leave is never enough for any new mom who is lucky enough to get any leave at all from her job. If you have the priviledge or resources to spend more time with your baby in those super important first weeks, we can't even fault a woman for choosing to solely focus on motherhood.
We're sure Cardi will be keeping everybody up on what she and Kulture are up to via social media, as usual.
