The "Insecure" cast is taking over GQ's Comedy Issue, which features Issa Rae on the cover. Get into the fellas working up a sweat in the gym and Issa recreating several 90s looks from your TV faves inside....

Get ready to see more and more of the "Insecure" cast as we count down to the season 3 premiere, which is slated to go down on August 12th.

Before we get all wrapped up in another chapter of one of our FAVE original series made specifically for us, the male actors of "Insecure" invade GQ magazine's Comedy Issue, which features "Insecure" creator/star Issa Rae on the cover. A grossly, weird cover at that. See it HERE if you missed.

Zaddy!

Jay Ellis, Y'lan Noel (above), Sarunas Jackson (who we believe is a new dad--those deets HERE), Neil Brown Jr. and Wade Allain-Marcus bring the heat in a spread that features that guys snapping it up in sweatpants, track suits, shorts and even their boxers as they school us on the "Dos and Donts" in the gym.

Outside of their gym talk, we found one line in the GQ article that made us do a double take. Like we said, Sarunas - who plays Dro - is allegedly the baby daddy to his co-star Dominique Perry's baby girlwho was just born last week. In the article, it was written that Sarunas is "the most like the character he plays on the HBO hit—because at the time he was cast, he was also in an open relationship." Oh? Married Dro does have a lot going on in the series when it comes to women and "open" relationships.

We're interested in knowing his situationship with Dominique. Are they a couple or are they just going to do this co-parenting thing?

Check out the fellas' full spread here.

Peep the "Insecure" zaddies explain the rules of the gym below:

Which ones have you all been breaking?

Also in GQ...

After bringing the laughs in the Photoshopped fail of a cover (issa joke!) for GQ's June 2018 Comedy Issue, Issa Rae brings some looks most of us who grew up in the 90s can appreciate.

The 35-year-old recreated looks from some of your favorite black sitcom stars from the 90s. Issa channels Brandy in "Moesha," Will Smith in "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," Kadeem Hardison as Dwayne Wayne in "A Different World," and Jaleel White as Steve Urkel in "Family Matters" in the accompanying spread.

Nailed it.

Inside, the writer/actress said that she was inspired to create "Insecure" after watching the sitcoms she grew up on disappear from television. It was a void no one seemed inclined to fill until she made a splash on the scene.

Now, Issa is worried about her next move and she seems a bit afraid of failure. Here's an excerpt from her cover story:

“The failure is yours,” Issa said. “It is yoursss-uh.”

Is the prospect of failure still scary to you, now that you've had some success?

“How?”

You're on the third season of a popular show—I'd describe that as success.

“That could go to shit,” Rae said. “This could be the worst season we've ever had. And then what? Then people are all of a sudden like, ‘Oh, okay.’ Then the calls stop. It's like stand-up comedy: In order to eventually succeed, you have to bomb. That's what every comedian says—that's when the fear goes away. And I feel like I'm still fearful because I haven't publicly bombed yet, in terms of my career. Yeah, Insecure is successful now, but where's my bomb coming? Where are my Will Smith bombs coming? Where, where is that happening?”

Will Smith is fine!

“He went through a period when he was depressed, when three or four of his movies in a row weren't number one at the box office. So for him that was terrible. And now he's talking about, ‘You gotta fail, you gotta fail.’ ” She paused. “And I don't want to make Instagram speeches about failing. I don't.”

That's interesting. What we get from this is that Issa is a perfectionist and will do anything not to fail.

You can read her full interview here.

Also, Issa sat down to give her best dating advice. Fellas, listen up and come correct:

HBO's "Insecure" returns for its 3rd season on August 12th. Y'all ready?
