This totally happened! Barack and Michelle Obama have officially inked a deal with Netflix and we're just waiting for the projects because we KNOW they're going to be fire. Get the deets on the deal, plus info on "black-ish" star Miles Brown going from TV to movie star inside...

A few months ago, there were reports that Barack Obama could possibly be inking a deal with Netflix. Now, it's official. And it's Barack AND Michelle Obama included in the new deal.

After graciously serving our country for 8 years, the Former First Couple is gearing up for their next big project. The YBF couple just signed a production deal with the streaming giant and they're going to bring tons of material WE can relate to.

“President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have entered into a multi-year agreement to produce films and series for Netflix, potentially including scripted series, unscripted series, docu-series, documentaries, and features,” Netflix announced via Twitter.

YAS! They're putting their golden touch on EVERYTHING.

Back in January, we were gifted with an hour-long conversation between President Barack Obama and David Letterman for his “My Guest Needs No Introduction” series.

As previously reported, President Obama doesn't plan on using the platform to fight sitting president Donald Trump. In fact, the Obamas are more focused on bringing inspirational stories to the forefront. And that's something we all could use.

The platform reaches nearly 118 million subscribers around the world, so the Obamas will have a strong media presence. Not to mention, whenever they do ANYTHING, we're always in a frenzy because theyr're just GOALS. Congrats!

In movie news...

"black-ish" star Miles Brown is gearing up to make his tansition from TV star to Hollywood star! The 13-year-old actor just nabbed a lead role in the indie coming-of-age comedy, Emmett.

The Hollywood Reporter reports:

Rita Wilson and Nora Dunn will also star in the feature that follows a 12-year-old genius (Brown) who teams up with his quirky SAT tutor to solve a crime and keep his family from splitting up. Ravi Patel, Arden Myrin, Skylan Brooks and Zack Gilford round out the cast in the movie from director Bridget Stokes.

Vicky Wight wrote the screenplay and is also producing via her Six Foot Pictures banner. An Emmett companion novel from Six Foot's publishing arm is planned.

Congrats!

Miles is currently shooting scenes for the film and there isn't word yet when it's set to be released. In the meantime, you can catch the YBF Kid every Tuesday at 9/8c in new episodes of the fourth season of ABC's "black-ish".
