With this year's theme being all religious and such, celebs changed out of their angelic (and some uncomfortable) numbers for something more reaxed and easier to party in.
Rihanna had a whole moment when she rolled up on the carpet as the Pope of the Heavenly Bodies-themed Met Gala this year. After killing the carpet, she was tapped to host an afterparty at one of her fave NYC spots, Up & Down. And everyone was in the building.
For the bash, the Bajan beauty rocked a light blue shimmering oversized top and matching pants by french designer Nina Ricci. It almost looked like luxury pajamas that only Rih can transform into something hot to wear to a party.
Idris Elba and fiance Sabrina changed clothes and made a mad dash inside the party.
Other attendees included newly engaged 2 Chainz and his fiancee Kesha Ward, Diddy, his girlfriend Cassie, Mary J. Blige, Issa Rae, Gabrielle Union, Michael B. Jordan, Janelle Monae, Lena Waithe, Wiz Khalifa, model Winnie Harlow,Pharrell Williams and his wife Helen, and model Jasmine Sanders:

Pregnant Cardi B and her fiance Offset changed into some Versace threads to party at the label's afterparty inside the Mark Hotel.
Designer Jeremy Scott was still escorting Cardi and his gorgeous creation around.
Migos hit the stage to perform some of their hits. 2 Chainz was on double duty as he also performed at this afterparty as well.
Zendaya made her way to the Versace party, rocking a printed royal blue Versace mini skirt.

Jennifer Lopez and her beau Alex Rodriguez hit Balmain's Met Gala afterparty. Both dressed in the designer, of course.
