The 144th Kentucky Derby races were in full effect yesterday and several YBF celebs stepped out in their Sunday’s best. We’ve got fly flicks of Diddy, his daughters, Tina Lawson, Bobby Brown and more inside…
Rain wasn’t going to stop the 144th Kentucky Derby held at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky yesterday. Despite the gloomy weather, folks still got all dressed up in their festive hats and tailored suits to soak in the horse racing fun.
Beyonce’s mother Tina Lawson and her hubby Richard Lawson were amongst the Derby attendees yesterday, serving up #CoupledomGoals as usual.
“Me and my boo on the Red carpet at the Derby!!,” Mama Tina captioned on Instagram.
Werk! Mama Tina never misses an opportunity to slay. We see where Bey gets it from.
We all know Ms. Tina loves posting videos on social media and yesterday was no exception. She got her hubby involved in her social media postings:
Get thos angles Richard!
After tying the knot on a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas a few weeks ago, Star Jones was all smiles with her new husband Ricardo Lugo. The cruise served as a double celebration for the lawyer/producer as she also celebrated her 56th birthday.
Star, who formerly co-hosted “The View,” is a Derby Day regular and she always serves up Derby fashions and extravagent hats.
Looks like they're enjoying the married life.
A Hip Hop King with his princesses!
This year, Diddy brought his daughters – Jessie, D’Lila and Chance Combs – along as his dates for the Kentucky Derby. And they slayed! The little moguls-in-training served up YBF kiddie cuteness in their dresses, hats and gloves.
LOVE this candid shot.
In the stands...
The record producer caught up with singer Bobby Brown to chop it up during the races.
The New Edition singer had his wife, Alicia Etheredge on his arm during the festivities.
"black-ish" star Anthony Anderson and his beautiful wife Alvina Stewart as his date for the Derby fun.
By the way, Anthony co-hosted VH1's "Dear Mama" event a few days ago (alongside LaLa Anthony) where Bobby Brown hit the stage for a performance and Diddy was tapped to present. See the red carpet flicks HERE.
"Dear Mama" airs tomorrow, May 7th at 9/8c on VH1.
Professional boxer Laila Ali, daughter of the late Muhammad Ali, made her way to Churchill Downs for her very first Kentucky Derby during a "workcation."
Denver Broncos player Von Miller hit up the Derby in his signature style, rocking a coral and light blue plaid suit with a skinny blue tie and tan sneakers. He topped his look off with a straw hat accessorized with a red rose.
While at the Derby, Tina whipped out her phone to capture a few videos. Sitting with her husband Richard, Anthony Anderson and "Empire" star Terrence Howard (along with their wives), the "black-ish" star started cracking jokes, but Richard didn't seem amused by it:
