Rapper Juelz Santana was released from jail yesterday after his legal situation at Newark Liberty International Airport on March 9th. The rapper surrendered to authorities on March 12th after fleeing the airport when TSA agents reportedly found a gun (reportedly a .38 caliber handgun) and drugs in his luggage. He was hopping on a flight to San Francisco.
The 36-year-old plead not guilty lead not guilty on two state weapons charges and a drug possession charge, however, U.S. Magistrate Judge James B. Clark, III, previously denied his request for bail. Now, he’s being released into the custody of his mother.
NorthJersey.com reports:
LaRon James, the rapper's legal name, was ordered to be released into the custody of his mother by Judge Michael A. Hammer. A $500,000 bond was secured by his mother’s Englewood home.
"I'm just happy to be in God's graces," James told The Record outside the federal courthouse Friday. "I was praying every day. He came through for me ... just gotta do the right thing, do everything I need to do the right thing so I stay home."
Juelz will have to wear an ankle monitor and be under 24-hour lockdown. Assistant U.S. Attorney Desiree Latze labeled him a “flight risk,” but Judge Hammer didn't think he was a threat to the community. He had to turn in his passport, obviously.

Vivica A. Fox got ambushed by PETA protestors while on her “Everyday I’m Husting” book tour. The YBF actress had a book signing at Barnes And Noble in NYC
The protestors were made disrespectful interrupting her as she tried to speak to the audience. They yelled at Aunt Viv to “stop wearing fur” and called her an “animal abuser,” alleging she paid someone “to kill an animal.”

Another camera angle shows Aunt Viv popping back at the protestors where she repeatedly yelled, “God Bless You.” Then she said, “Don’t compare when you can’t compete.” Oop.
