Leave it to Whoopi Goldberg to choose comfort over style. See the EGOT rocking combat boots with a ballroom gown at the 2018 Oscars inside…
Whoppi Goldberg just doesn’t give a ****. And we love it.
She’s the type of celebrity to choose comfort over fashion and doesn’t mind showing the world. The EGOT rolled up to the Hollywood & Highland Center in a look we don’t often see her in. The Oscar winner rocked a floral off-the-shoulder Christian Siriano dress that was custom designed just for her...WITH pockets. Showing off those tattoos and everything. We see you Whoop!
Like we said, Whoopi, who won Best Supporting Actress in 1991, chose comfort over style and decided she would wear a pair of combat boots with her dress. YES, combat boots with her ball gown. Ha! Only Whoppi. She also wore a red pin over her heart to help raise awareness for HIV.
On the carpet, she showed off her shoe game while chatting with “The View” co-host Sara Haines.

Love her.
"The View" co-host brought her daughter Alex Martin along as her date. And she looked very elegant and classy.
Lady Bird actor Timothée Chalamet paid tribute to Whoopi as she floated down the carpet.
After the ceremony...
