Marvel’s Black Panther is still taking over the Big Apple with a screening of the superhero film.
Celebs trekked it to the Museum of Modern Art to see the highly anticipated film of the year, host by The Cinema Society. The night’s festivities brought out several celebs all dressed up for the occasion.
Birthday girl Danai Gurira was a total showstopper on the carpet in a gold dress with dramatic ruching. We hear she celebrated her 40th birthday with a Coming To America themed bash with her Black Panther castmates.
She wasn't the only one serving up a bold look that fit the theme of the movie. "Power" star Naturi Naughton, actress Condola Rashad (daughter of actress Phylicia Rashad), Snoop Dogg's son Cordell Broadus, CNN's Van Jones (joined by CNN's Don Lemon), Get Out star Lil Rel, model icon Iman, and TV personality Sherri Shepherd were also decked out in African garb:
As expected, some of the cast was also in the mix, including Lupita Nyong'o, Chadwick Boseman, director Ryan Coogler and his wife Zinzi Evans, and Letitia Wright:

Daddy-daughter date! Comedian Chris Rock brought his daughter Zahara Rock as his date for the movie. By the way, his Netflix comedy special "Chris Rock: Tamborine" will be available to stream TONIGHT at midnight. It's the first stand-up special from the award winning comedian in ten years.
"Power" star Omari Hardwick brought his wife Jennifer Pfautch as his date for the evening. We still have a good minute before "Power" returns. Ugh.
EGOT Whoopi Goldberg and "SNL" comedienne Leslie Jones were in the mix.

Headwrap fab!Fashion mogul Tyra Banks, showing off in a custom see-through Stello dress, snapped it up with Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover girl Danielle Herrington. Tyra was the first African-American to cover the magazine and Danielle is the third.

Actor Kenan Thompson, who recently reunited with the "All That" cast on "Wild 'N Out," was all smiles on the carpet.
