The best of both worlds!

Tiffany Haddish just copped a new co-star in her new movie.

The Girls Trip breakout star will be cutting up with fellow comedienne Melissa McCarthy in the upcoming crime drama titled, The Kitchen. Lordt. These two together in a movie will be many things. Especially, since the movie is a crime drama and both Tiffany and Melissa mainly do comedy.

Deadline reports:

The film is an uncommon one for a major studio: a gritty drama directed by a female filmmaker, with three strong female leads in the anti-hero roles. The Kitchen is an Irish mafia story set in Hell’s Kitchen, New York in the 1970s. An FBI sweep catches mob leaders, and while they are under arrest and their criminal enterprise is jeopardized, the mob wives take over. They end up running the illicit business in more vicious fashion than their husbands ever did.

New Line Cinema and DC Entertainment are backing the film with the screenplay written by Andrea Berloff (Straight Outta Compton) based on the 2014 comic book series by Ollie Masters and Ming Doyle for DC’s Vertigo. Andrea will also make her directorial debut and Michael De Luca (Fifty Shades of Gray) will be producing.

Tiffany has a few high-profile films in the works. She’s working with Will Smith (for the third time) on The Temp and she’ll be starring opposite Kevin Hart in Night School.

Speaking of new movies...

Ayeeeee! Time to turn up!

Cleveland Cavaliers baller LeBron James and his SpringHill Entertainment production company (along with his business partner Maverick Carter) are gearing up to bring us a new House Party flick. But, it’s not exactly a reboot of Kid & Play's franchise, per se.  So, basically, it's a remake.

“This is definitely not a reboot. It’s an entirely new look for a classic movie,” the NBA MVP told The Hollywood Reporter. “Everyone I grew up with loved House Party. To partner with this creative team to bring a new House Party to a new generation is unbelievable.”

He has a hell of team backing the film too. “Atlanta’s” Stephen Glover (Donald Glover’s brother) and Jamal Olori will pen the screenplay.

They are also working on creating a BOMB soundtrack.

“We’re trying out some ideas for musicians to be cast in and to be a part of the project,” Maverick Carter said.

He also talked about whether LeBron will make a cameo. “There’s no plan for it now, but he’s a fantastic actor, and if he wants a role, Stephen will find a great role to put him in,” Maverick added.

Y’all here for it?  As long as somebody whips out the Kid & Play, no matter what they call it, we are.
