And another one! "This Is Us" star Sterling K. Brown gave the acceptance speech we all needed to hear after winning the Golden Globe for Best Actor tonight. And yes, he finally got to thank his wife. See it all inside...
He's been raking up the awards for the last couple of years, and tonight Sterling K. Brown's adding the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama TV Series to his shelves.
The "This Is Us" star just won the MAJOR award on stage at the The Beverly Hilton Hotel, and he started out thanking his super fab wife and co-star Ryan Michelle Bathe. You know, so he doesn't get cut off like he did at the Emmys.
During his speech, he also saluted the show's head writer Donald Fogelman for deliberately creating a role for a black man (and black family), not just a colorblind role that a black man happened to fill.
Watch his powerful speech below:
Let 'em know, Sterling!
By the way, the Emmy winner's getting all the love tonight from his tv wife, Susan Kelechi Watson, and his real life wife:
Cute!
