Leave it to Erykah Badu for a jaw-dropping ensemble as she hosts the 2017 Soul Train Awards. Also, Tamar Braxton made her first public appearance since she filed for divorce from her husband Vince Herbert. Everything inside…
Say what you want, but Erykah Badu sure knows how to keep everyone talking.
The soulful songstress was tapped to host the 2017 Soul Train Awards for the third consecutive year. And, like every other year, she commanded all the attention on the carpet.
Ms. Badu rolled up on the carpet in a dramatic ensemble that featured an extra poofy skirt and topped it all off with her signature high top hat. Except this time, she decorated her hat with a gold headpiece that made her the center attraction. She kept it clean in all white everything, looking real goddess-like on the carpet. Ms. Badu has her own eclectic style and we love how she adds her own twists to her look and still slays.
As she made her way down the carpet, Eryah’s kiddies, Mars and Puma, joined her. Aren’t they cute!
