Star Jones confirmed she's now engaged to her boyfriend of a little over a year, Illinois' assistant state attorney Ricardo Lugo.
The author, lawyer and former co-host of "The View" gushed about that diamond ring she's been wearing on her wedding ring finger since July, telling folks at last night's Angel Ball (above) she's about to be a wife again.
“We’re engaged,” Jones, 55, toldUs at the event. She added, laughing: “Not talking about it.”
Yeah, because talking about her engagement, wedding and marriage with ex-husband Al Reynolds, whom she divorced 9 years ago, def didn't end well. She caught hell from ABC and fans after she basically pimped out her wedding on "The View" asking for freebies, and rumors were rampant about him supposedly using her for fame and money once the marriage began to go south.
