Thank goodness for friends…who can sing!
We told last week Tamar Braxton had fallen ill and had been hospitalized. While it’s unclear what sent her to the hospital, she’s out now and getting back to herself.
However, Bluebird of Happiness singer (who's heading out on tour with XSCAPE) was tapped to perform at the “BET Her Fights: Breast Cancer” event at the Epicenter in Atlanta, but she had to back out due to her hospitalization.
Luckily, she has a few famous friends that can blow and weren’t booked. XSCAPE stepped in to perform in Tamar’s place for the inaugural event. Hosted by “Power” star Naturi Naughton, the event helped educate the masses on breast cancer, providing information about services for those diagnosed with the disease. It was also a night of celebration as guests were treated to performances by XSCAPE, Keyshia Cole, Sevyn Streeter and more.
And Naturi made a few wardrobe changes throughout the ceremony.
