MONEY MOVES! Cardi B Makes Billboard History As 'Bodak Yellow' Reaches No.1, Nicki Minaj Claps For Her

Cardi B’s glow up just keeps getting better and better.

When she dropped “Bodak Yellow,” it quickly took over the radio waves and became a summer anthem for the ladies. Our inner ratchet was on level 10.

Now, Cardi is making “bloody moves” all over the charts. “Bodak Yellow” just hit the No. 1 spot!  History.Made.

The former “Love & Hip Hop” star is the first female rapper to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart without the assistance of any other credited artists since Lauryn Hill in 1998.

L Boogie took the crown when she topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart with “Doo Wop (That Thing)” in November 1998.

Cardi did something record-setting queen Nicki Minaj hasn't even been able to do (yet). She dethroned Taylor Swift, knocking the pop singer's "Look What You Made Me Do" to the No. 3 spot and Post Malone's "Rockstar" sits at the No. 2 spot.

Rarely take pics.... but when History changes ... let it be recorded. This journey started in the strip clubs 3 1/2 years ago and ended #1 Song on Billboard #Hot100. With a GOD FEARING team, my partner @callmeclass, @iam_kingpee (I call her clutch, she filled up so many shoes), Super Platinum producer @jwhitedidit (my friend on 19yrs who was humble, patient and listened to advice given) and last but never least ...the woman who wears her heart on her sleeve @iamcardib ....we were collectively able to change history thru the power of Christ... Untold Story: Before Cardi B... I was a party promoter for 2 yrs.... 1st YEAR being extremely successful .... but being a new promoter never realized during the summer time people switched to Outdoor venues.... not saving Money Gains, Taking HEAVY RISK, and Still paying out employees had my back against the wall... I was unable to pay my gas bill, my mortgage, my credit cards and loans, to the point where I could not even put gas in my car.... Two individuals came to my rescue @lexxdymondz and #Islam Will never forget and will be FOREVA GRATEFUL. ( Moral of this story was as much as I smiled, I held my head up and figured out a way... just as I have done, you to can!!! My Back was Also Against the Fucking Wall, No Excuses) This right here is DEDICATED to @lexxdymondz and #Islam, Dedicated to those that took risk for what they believed in(Winning or Losing), Those that were not afraid to be different?(No matter what society and your peers say), The Dancers, Promoters, Street Hustlers (Keep your eyes on that prize.. whatever your goal are, get your money, save and invest in YOUR DREAM) Convert your energy in a positive way to change the world in a positive manner and THE LORD WILL HAVE YOUR BACK....and last DEDICATED to my Haitians(We got one) I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YALL!!!!
