She don’t have to dance, she making money moves. Come celebrate Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” track making history as it hits No. 1 on the Billboard charts inside…
Cardi B’s glow up just keeps getting better and better.
When she dropped “Bodak Yellow,” it quickly took over the radio waves and became a summer anthem for the ladies. Our inner ratchet was on level 10.
Now, Cardi is making “bloody moves” all over the charts. “Bodak Yellow” just hit the No. 1 spot! History.Made.
The former “Love & Hip Hop” star is the first female rapper to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart without the assistance of any other credited artists since Lauryn Hill in 1998.
L Boogie took the crown when she topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart with “Doo Wop (That Thing)” in November 1998.
Cardi did something record-setting queen Nicki Minaj hasn't even been able to do (yet). She dethroned Taylor Swift, knocking the pop singer's "Look What You Made Me Do" to the No. 3 spot and Post Malone's "Rockstar" sits at the No. 2 spot.
To celebrate, Cardi’s camp threw her a mini celebration. And so did Fellow NY rapper Onicka:
Congratulations to a fellow NEW YAWKA on a RECORD BREAKING achievement. Bardi, this is the only thing that matters!!! Enjoy it @iamcardib
