After making history earlier as the first black director to cop the Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series Emmy, Donald Glover was back on the Microsoft Theater stage to accept the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy. The "Atlanta" star is raking up ALL the awards these days, as he should.
But that wasn't the only major nugget for him.
After thanking his partner Michelle for loving him, he thanked his son...and his new baby on the way!
Earlier in the night, the In Memoriam segment was set to a version of Stevie Wonder's "Always." The rapper/actor then revealed:
"I want to thank my baby, my son, for being the joy in my life. I want to thank my unborn son for listning toStevie tonight."
Sounds like CONGRATS are in order!
He hilariously joked that Trump is to thank for him being on that stage:
"I want to thank Trump for making black people #1 on the Most Depressed list. He's the reason I'm probably up here."
No lies told.
