Celebs are stepping up and whipping out their wallets to help victims in Houston affected by Hurricane Harvey. Meanwhile, comedian Michael Blackson is giving us all the laugh we need during a time of devastation. Get it all inside…
During times of devastation, laughter is the best remedy.
After Kevin Hart issued his $25K challenge to his “A-List” celebrity friends to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey, comedian Michael Blackson offered up his own challenge. And it’s quite funny.
Blackson issued a challenge to “Z-list celebs who look rich but are broke” to donate money to help those in Houston. He’s not challenging them to offer up $25,000. He’s asking them to give amounts that are more in line with their alleged tax bracket. *cackles*
The comedian called out DC Young Fly, Joe Budden, Yung Joc, all the “Housewives,” the “Love & Hip Hop” stars, the “Wild ‘N Out” cast and Bow Wow, asking them to send amounts less than $100. Then, he shaded the hell out of Bobby V saying, “We don’t want your money.”
Lordt. It's all just jokes though.
Peep the clip below:
Bobby V got wind of the video and hit Blackson up:
Ha! This guy.

Just because you haven’t READ about Beyonce giving back to her hometown of Houston doesn’t mean she isn’t giving back.
Bey’s pastor, Rev. Rudy Rasmus from St. John's United Methodist Church, spoke with TMZ to reveal that he’s working with Mrs. Carter to help the Hurricane Harvey victims. We all know Bey is SUPER private. But, we didn’t have a doubt in our minds that she wasn’t helping the people of her hometown.
Apparently, there are rumors going around that the “Shining” singer donated $7 million already, but Pastor Rasmus said don’t look for her to confirm that. Bey already publicly pledged to help her hometown, but she likely won't be flossing exactly she will do it.

Beyonce's mom Tina Lawson is also helping to spread the word on how to donate:
